Cha Cha Dessert Bar has opened on Grenfell Street in Adelaide’s CBD, serving as the city’s newest late-night sweet spot. Open until midnight on weekdays and extending to 2am on weekends, this cozy dessert bar aims to satisfy sugar cravings long into the night, making it a perfect place to go during the chilly winter evenings.
Recently unveiled with a soft opening on June 2nd, Cha Cha Dessert Bar invites diners to indulge in a selection of both delicious dessert dishes and drinks.
Their menu features a variety of sweet treats, including a popular Korean shaved ice dessert, Bingsu, showcasing flavours like Tiramisu, Matcha Red Bean, Cha Thai, and Lemonade Cheesecake. Among these, the Matcha Red Bean Bingsu stands out as a winner with its blend of matcha milk, red bean paste, matcha ice cream, herbal jelly, and mochi.
Another highlight of their menu is their Honey Toast and Waffles, available in flavours such as Chocolate Triad, Biscoff Peanut Butter, Edo Time, and The Classic. Via their instagram, Cha Cha announced that “a signature creation of Cha Cha that you must try” is their Biscoff Peanut Butter Honey Toast.
This dish combines the creaminess of peanut butter with oven-baked toast, creating a crispy yet comforting sensation that is simply irresistible. It features Biscoff spread, peanut butter ice cream, brulee banana, and caramel slice.
For those craving something more even more decadent, Cha Cha Dessert Bar has two House Dessert Specials: Choc Bailey and Tiramisu Parfait. Their Choc Bailey dish is a chocolate cake with Bailey ice cream, strawberry, shredded chocolate, cream cheese and cookie crumble. While their Tiramisu Parfait is tiramisu with mixed nuts, crumble, strawberry and butterfly pea.
To complement the delectable desserts, Cha Cha Dessert Bar serves a range of delicious drinks too. Highlights from their menu include the Biscotti Iced Latte with coffee, Biscoff paste, crumble, and cheese foam. They also serve up a Lychee Mojito Tea, which is a blend of lychee, red tea, mint, and lime. Or check out their hot chocolate… served in a cocktail glass!
