A brand-new sando joint called Don’s Deli has opened in Adelaide’s eastern suburbs, brought to you by the talented team behind Spread, Dolly, Bar Lune, and Fine and Fettle.
Don’s will distinguish itself from its sister Spread by embracing Italian tradition, focusing on simple deli-style fillings in their sandwiches.
With a selection of toasties, sandos, and coffees, their menu features blueberry and maple bacon toasties, mortadella and pesto toasties, and a variety of focaccias, delivering a blend of flavours.
Situated conveniently across from Bar Lune on The Parade, Don’s Deli has stepped in as a quick takeaway spot for diners, while Bar Lune has established itself as one of Adelaide’s most prominent wine bars.
Since opening its doors, the popular neighbourhood wine bar has been embraced as the place-to-go on The Parade, known for its diverse selection of wines and cocktails, and delicious food offerings.
Bar Lune has become a beloved spot for locals and visitors alike, and having both culinary ventures situated along The Parade will allow foodies to choose from either a high-end dining experience, or a quick takeaway option, on the same street.
While the emphasis of Don’s Deli is on takeaway, it will be catering for both the grab-and-go crowd and those who want to linger a bit longer. With a couple of stools and crates available outside, customers can enjoy their sandwiches and coffees al fresco style.
With its focus on Italian tradition, simple yet flavourful menu offerings, and convenient location, Don’s Deli is poised to make a significant impression on the Adelaide dining scene.
Meanwhile, there is absolutely no time to rest for the owners of Spread, Dolly, Bar Lune, Fine and Fettle, and now Don’s Deli, with yet another culinary venture coming soon: Oliveti.
