Goodslice, formally known as GoodLife, was one of Australia’s first organic pizza bars. After 17 years in the game, the focus on serving up the best organic pizzas, wines and coffee has remained constant.

The Glenelg based institution is selling some seriously good pizzas using quality organic ingredients from local suppliers.

The pizza dough is prepared with Laucke organic flour, filtered water, fresh yeast & aged for 24 hours. Aged to perfection.

“We source from a range of primarily SA producers and local markets with a focus on organic. Shopping locally means less food miles, often better ingredients and local jobs being created and maintained here in SA,” says owner Jake Greenrod.

“The menu has a local pizza focus, so we’ve tried to create a range of pizzas with a broad range of flavours- something for everyone,” says Jake.

They’ve got you covered with gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options all available.

More recently Goodslice has added some new menu additions including Vegan Zucchetti, Vegan entrée options and raw organic salads.

You can conquer their brand new ‘Goodslice,’ a giant pizza slice with its own board and cutter to DIY.

Goodslice has elevated your standard pizza options, with the likes of a gourmet Hawaiian pizza using double smoked Barossa bacon served with fresh pineapple and Australian made swiss style cheese.

Into something a little spicier?  Get the Hahndorf spicy salami pizza, topped with local kalamata olives, organic red onion, mozzarella, fresh baby bocconcini and basil.

There’s an appealing free-range duck (sourced straight from Chinatown) and shitake mushroom pizza served with ginger jam, sauté spring onion and chives.

Pizza isn’t the only thing this pizza powerhouse is slinging, there’s a range of salads, starters and desserts for you to sink your teeth into.

Since opening in 2003, Goodslice has supported the SA wine industry, with a 100% South Australian wine list.

In 2013 the establishment purchased a small vineyard in McLaren Vale, and has operated they own boutique wine label, Green Road Wines. The winery produces two red wines, Happy Days and Reincarnation, which are sold nationally.
