After a forced hiatus in 2020, the Adelaide Fitness Expo is back this May 22-23 2021, and it’s doubled in size to include something for everybody – even the kids! It will have over 50 stalls and great events all weekend.

Exhibitions will fill the Adelaide Showgrounds over two days across 7000 square meters with featured events including the Battle of Brawn ROUGE, a cross-fit competition and over 50 stalls packed with seminars, guest speakers, industry professionals and sporting performances.

Tickets are an affordable $11.75 for a day pass and entry includes access to central performance spaces and scheduled competitions and demonstrations. A basketball competition is among the many new events at the supersized Adelaide Fitness Expo in 2021.

Adelaide Fitness Expo Spokesperson, Elise Champion, says the event has something for everybody.

“Our new offerings for 2021 include a custom-made bouldering wall from Beyond Bouldering, a huge Rebel Sport pop-up store and guest speakers from across the fitness industry,” says Elise.

“There’s literally something for everyone, and we’re just so glad to be back after the disruptions that the coronavirus caused to the fitness and events industries.”

The Champions League Basketball (CLB) 3-on-3 competition is a major addition to the expo program across the weekend, featuring both open and elite competitions for juniors and adults.

Elise says having team sport activities was a purposeful inclusion for 2021 to encourage all South Australians to get outdoors and celebrate the ability to exercise.

“Moving towards a more family-friendly atmosphere, we saw the inclusion of sport in the expo as a major priority,” says Elise.

“CLB have run over 140 successful tournaments in the past few years and it’s going to be a great part of this year’s expo.”

Returning from previous expos will be the popular Battle of the Brawn ROGUE, a CrossFit competition run by Brawn Fitness.

From strongmen and pole dancing to chiropractors and physiotherapists, at the 50+ stalls and central performance space will make disappointment impossible, according to Elise.

An estimated 6,000 people will attend across the two-day event, and Elise welcomes both new and returning visitors.

“What we had in place for 2020 all changed in some way given the current climate,” she says.

“We’ve chosen to see this as an opportunity rather than another hurdle… and we expect this to be the best Adelaide Fitness Expo yet!”

The 2021 Adelaide Fitness Expo is at the Adelaide Showgrounds on May 22-23.
