Field Trip Festival makes epic return with NYE party under the stars

Located at Bonython Park, Will Sparks is returning as the festival’s headliner, accompanied by names such as Colin Hennerz, Slice N Dice, and more.

The Field Trip Music Festival made its surprise introduction to the Adelaide music scene in April 2021, with an epic three-day line-up to boot.

With acts like The Jungle Giants, Confidence Man, Will Sparks, Joel Fletcher, HP Boys, Masked Wolf, and more, Field Trip made a debut to remember.

Presented by Kindred Group, the Ellis Park festival aimed to showcase Australian acts in a big way, traversing genres and getting festivalgoers of all music tastes dancing again.

The outdoor, single-stage festival was capped at 2,000 people, split into zones of max 200 to adhere to strict COVID restrictions at the time. But this didn’t curb the spirit of music lovers!

For many, the festival marked a very welcome return to the festival scene, after the dreaded months of 2020.

Fast-forward to 2022, Field Trip is making its triumphant return as Adelaide’s next biggest New Year’s Eve party under the stars.

Located at Bonython Park, Will Sparks is returning as the festival’s headliner, accompanied by names such as Bread Gang, Colin Hennerz, Slice N Dice, plus a load of local acts.

Will Sparks – the Melbourne-based producer and DJ – broke into the music scene back in 2013, with one of his best own tracks “Bring it Back”, featuring Joel Fletcher. Followed up close behind with his single “Ah Yeah So What!” featuring Wiley and Elen Levon, Will Sparks was named 2014’s No. 1 Australian DJ.

Supporting Will Sparks is young blood, Colin Hennerz – the rapidly growing Melbourne producer and DJ, with more than 250k+ followers on Tiktok, and has over 10 million+ music streams worldwide across Spotify, Soundcloud, and Youtube.

Slice N Dice, a drum and bass duo with over 99,000 followers on Sound Cloud, will also take the stage and no doubt electrify Bonython Park with smoke machines and their #masknation cult following.

This edition of Field Trip promises to get you moshing and head banging into the New Year, so if you leave and breathe dance music, get your tickets before they sell out.
