La Boca Bar & Grill launches a six-course Omakase menu feat. their famous Asador

With talented chef Nicolas Arriola at the helm, a wide repertoire of Argentina’s amazing cuisine is on show, particularly in the two new six-course Omakase menus.

Omakase. You may have heard the Japanese term before, which translates to ‘entrust’ or more aptly in this sense, ‘the chef’s choice’.

Chef’s choice menus are increasingly growing in popularity and another fantastic SA restaurant has joined the movement with a Omakase menu.

La Boca Bar & Grill is the CBD’s premier Argentinian restaurant, located on North Terrace.

With talented chef Nicolas Arriola at the helm, a wide repertoire of Argentina’s amazing cuisine is on show, particularly in his two Omakase menus.

His new six-course degustation menus includes their famous Asador meats, South Australian seafood and fan-favourite dessert samples, using the freshest ingredients and in-season produce.

The Omakase Six Course Degustation Menus are priced at $109 per person or $139 per person with paired beverages, and there are two to pick from.

The Omakase Asador Menu includes:
Selection of artisan sourdough with house-made duck pâté 
Grilled Spencer Gulf prawn tail with salsa verde
Duck, prosciutto and fig terrine with roasted pickling onion
Mayura Station wagyu rump MBS9+ with their famous chimichurri
Selection of wood-fire grilled Asador with jus
Churros, tres leches and caramelised banana

The Omakase Seafood Menu includes:
Selection of artisan sourdough with house-made ocean trout pâté 
Grilled Spencer Gulf prawn tail with salsa verde
Duck, prosciutto and fig terrine with roasted pickling onion
Warm South Australia octopus escabeche with garlic sauce
Corn leaf-wrapped charred red snapper with pumpkin and sage purée 
Churros, tres leches and caramelised banana

The Omakase experience is available as of January 15, and bookings are essential.
