Nestled in the suburban streets of Dover Gardens is Patritti Wines – a family-owned winery that has brought traditionally made wines to the southern suburbs for 96 years.
Following Patritti’s shift towards premium wines and rare grape varieties, Patritti launched its new cellar door, Cellar II, last year. The gorgeous, family-friendly venue has been as resurgence in popularity, fully fitted out with barrel-lined tasting rooms.
Perfect for the warmer months, barrels and umbrellas decorate the frontage of Patritti, where food trucks come weekly, adding further to the fun, laidback vibe.
If you’re looking for an excuse to check it out, Cellar II is celebrating its first birthday all weekend, with three days’ worth of live music, food trucks and pop up cocktail bars!
Friday 9 September | Pizza e Vino
Festivities kick off today (Friday) in the form of Pizza e Vino! Two Fat Blokes Pizza will be serving up pizza for dinner, while KT Buzz Duo will crank up the tunes. The Patritti team will be pouring Negronis from their pop-up cocktail bar until 9pm.
If you’re not a planner, that’s perfect, because Patritti isn’t accepting booking anyway – it’s all walk in. So if you’re on your way home from work Friday night, Patritti may be the welcome detour you need.

Saturday 10 September | Celebrazione di Nonna
Missed Friday? Not a problem! Patritti is hosting a full BLOCK PARTY called Celebrazione di Nonna! Nonna’s Cucina will be cooking up Italian street food from 10am, alongside an all-day Aperol Spritz cocktail bar, Little Billy Cart coffee and Italian desserts truck.
Cruse through the afternoon with the sweet tunes of Mambo Italiano’s piano accordion, before transitioning to the night with DJ Normie B.

Sunday 11 September | Pasta in Piazza
Finally, Patritti will conclude its birthday festivities with Pasta in Piazza – the perfect Sunday family feast. Di Luggo & Co will be bringing its pasta truck full of gnocchi to the cellar door, while the Madz Winter Duo will be on the DJ deck.
The Patritti team will be pouring peach and passionfruit Bellini cocktails all day until 5pm from their cocktail bar, with the coffee van and Italian desserts truck returning for another night to satisfy that sweet tooth.
