Sunday Mail City-Bay Fun Run

City to bayEntries are still open for this year’s Sunday Mail City-Bay Fun Run on Sunday 19th September.

The event itself raises funds to support Athletics in South Australia, but a growing number of charities also use the City-Bay for their own fundraising activities, and with 12km, 6km or 3km run or walk options available, there is something to suit everyone’s fitness levels.

Upon arriving in Glenelg, entrants can also enjoy a massage by Sportsmed SA, entertainment from the Immanuel College Stage Band and performances by various cultural groups, fancy dress judging on the main stage at Colley Reserve and random draw prizes every 30 minutes.

Refreshments can be purchased from Colley and Wigley Reserves, but Coca-Cola will supply Powerade to all contestants in the compound at the finish and water from Neverfail will be provided at 4 water stops along the route.

Entries for this year’s event close at 12 noon on the 18th September, although a $15 late fee per entry now applies. Entries will not be accepted on the day.
