The Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation (OCRF) is proud to announce the launch of OCRF White Shirt Day 2011. On the 19th of May 2011, all Australians are invited to unite and show their commitment to fighting ovarian cancer and supporting the thousands of Australian women and their families who are affected by this disease.

The inaugural OCRF White Shirt Day is a celebration of the power of Australians coming together for one vital cause. By wearing any white shirt on the 19th of May, people will take a public stance against ovarian cancer and raise awareness for the OCRF’s life-changing research.

In their eleventh year of partnership with the OCRF, Australian fashion brand Witchery has designed a capsule White Shirt collection, pledging to donate 100 per cent of the gross proceeds of the sale to the OCRF. Comprising of seven shirts for women and three shirts for men, the 2011 White Shirt collection is set to be the strongest yet, reflecting the powerful message of OCRF White Shirt Day.

A range of well-known celebrities and media personalities have donated their time and energy to become White Shirt Day ambassadors, helping to launch the OCRF White Shirt Day and the White Shirt collection that will arrive in Witchery stores in Australia and New Zealand from Thursday 5th May.

OCRF White Shirt Day is a unique demonstration of support for all Australian women and those who love and support them.
