Metro Fresh Findon and Lily West Floral Designers bring you an amazing pop-up event featuring over hundreds stunning handcrafted floral arrangements, bouquets, and potted plants.
If your mum loves flowers, this is event you won’t want to miss Mother’s Day this weekend.
Lily West has been part of the Metro Fresh family since 2016, and this is one of their busiest weekends of the year.
Jessica, the manager of Metro Fresh Findon, shares why it’s so exciting.
“Lily West was created because our customers wanted beautiful, fresh flowers, and it’s been an amazing journey ever since. This event is a chance to showcase all the hard work our florists put in and to bring something special to the community.”
So, what makes this pop-up stand out? The huge collection of flower arrangements and gifts, of course!
“Mother’s Day is the busiest time of year for us, and we take a lot of pride in getting everything just right,” Jessica says.
“We work with local growers to make sure we have the best blooms available, and our florists will put together over 1,000 arrangements. Each one is handmade with care, and it’s a real labour of love.”
The pop-up event will be set up in the car park of Metro Fresh Findon, with a massive marquee full of flowers, plants, and gifts.
It’s all about creating a fun, lively atmosphere where you can find the perfect bouquet or pick out a unique plant.
“We want it to feel like a flower market, with lots of colour and the smell of fresh flowers everywhere. It’s going to be a great spot to find a last-minute gift or just take in the vibes,” says Jessica.
But it’s not just about flowers. Metro Fresh Findon is all about supporting the local community.
“We’ve always been passionate about supporting South Australian businesses, from the local growers we work with to the people we employ,” Jessica explains.
“We also work hard to promote local campaigns like Pick a Local, Pick SA! to keep our impact in South Australia.”
“It’s not just about buying flowers—it’s about creating memories,” Jessica says. “When you see kids picking out flowers for their mums, it’s really special. That’s what makes this event so meaningful for us. We want everyone to leave with something beautiful and a smile on their face.”
For Jessica and her team, the Mother’s Day pop-up is the highlight of the year.
“There’s a lot of hard work and excitement leading up to this weekend. We start setting up early in the morning, and there’s a lot of coffee, laughs, and flowers everywhere,” she says.
“But it’s worth it because we know how much these flowers mean to our customers.”
