The team at Oz Comic-Con has prepared two epic events, set to hit Adelaide and Melbourne this June.
Oz Comic-Con is a huge convention focused on comic books and related forms of pop culture entertainment, including movies, TV shows, and video games. This worldwide sensation is landing in Aus once again, bringing some incredible guests over the seas this year.
Become overwhelmed by stardom as special guests such as Emily Swallow, the Armourer in The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett, Abby Trott, Nezuko Kamado in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba and JusZ Cosplay join the growing lineup.
As always, attendees will be treated to a show floor and schedule that includes Artist Alley, Gaming Zones and various stages for panels, workshops and community engagement.
Content Manager of Oz Comic-Con, Jess Yates, is excited for this day to play out and to bring some new guests to Aus to make this event even more special.
“Adelaide hosted the first ever Oz Comic-Con, all the way back in March/April 2012. The overwhelming support we saw for that show allowed us to grow it from there. Oz Comic-Con Adelaide 2023 will ring in the 42nd Oz Comic-Con, and mine as well. Being from Adelaide myself originally, Oz Comic-Con Adelaide has always held a special place in my heart,” she explained.

Are you a cosplay enthusiast and have you been working on your epic outfit for this event? Oz Comic-Con’s Cosplay Central continues to astound with the chance to meet local cosplay heroes for photos and a chance to take home key insights from the industry.
The Australian Championships of Cosplay, one of the most prestigious cosplay contests in the region, will also make a return, highlighting the immense talent and craftsmanship from all around the country.
Entrants will be given a chance to join Oz Comic-Con’s Hall of Fame, which currently includes previous champions such as Heidzdee Cosplay, TC Cosplays, and Droid Protocol.
Attendees can expect a full weekend bursting with flavour including industry talks and panels, free play gaming opportunities, workshops, and lashings of retail opportunities with exclusive pop culture merchandise that can’t be found anywhere else.
