Put on your running shoes Adelaide! Australia’s iconic Colour Frenzy fun run is taking over Bonython Park on October 20th. The iconic colourful run raises funds for local animal rescue services providing shelter, food, and protection for local rescues.
Colour Frenzy Fun runners of all ages can walk, jog, skip, or even crawl their way through the lively course bursting with colour. As runners pass through the colour stations, they’ll be showered with non-toxic, washable colour powders. With no times kept, take it at your own pace and enjoy the run through Adelaide’s Bonython Park.
Designed to engage participants of all ages and skill levels, runners can look forward to a wide range of activities, including interactive workshops led by talented local artists, live art demonstrations, and collaborative community art projects.

Runners are encouraged to don their most colourful and silly outfits. Get creative with colorful costumes, tutus, or add a Colour Frenzy T-shirt, Hat, tutu, sweat bands, rainbow socks or suspenders to your ticket purchase to join in the fun, no fuss.
Before and after the run, attendees can participate in a wide range of activities, including interactive workshops led by talented local artists, live art demonstrations, and collaborative community art projects.

There’s plenty for the little ones with a variety of interactive games and activities specially designed to entertain kids of all ages. Plus kids under the age of five can participate in the fun run for just $5!
The run began with a Queensland family who had a simple idea – host a fun run that encouraged people to get active and moving. After their first event, they knew they had created something special and quickly it became a nationwide phenomenon.
Since that first run, they’ve held over 100 events across 26 locations, with new ones added each year. More than 100,000 participants have become colorful, taking over 25,000 vibrant photos along the way.
So far, the Colour Frenzy has raised over $130,000 for various clubs, charities, and groups, with a goal to raise over $250,000 annually for animal rescues. The profits from the run will help prevent premature euthanasia due to inadequate funding, ensuring that local animal rescues can continue their vital work.
