In a unique celebration of sound and taste, Papershell Farm presents an ultimate two-day-and-night event at the transformed Hi Fi Bar, perfectly suited for music and wine enthusiasts.

Hosted in Papershell Farm’s venue, The Almond Door, this is an exploration into the world of Hi Fi appreciation, while celebrating the incredible handmade wines from the local community. With a custom-built sound system and DJs all day and night, this is a music (and wine) lover’s dream.

This is a curated weekend of Vinyl Selectors who have been heroes for the team behind Papershell, and the fantastic wine producers in the region. Over the event, food will be prepared by the team at Willunga’s Moongarden and matched with a range of local spirits, beers and wines.

Running over the 14th and 15th of Decemeber, tickets are $50 per person + BF and include a “happy hour” tasting with innovators from Willunga and beyond. Taste wines from the Adelaide Hills and McLaren Vale whilst celebrating different varieties.

The Happy Hour tasting will run between 3pm and 4pm each day. Learn stories from the owners and makers whilst tasting their creations. The lineup includes: Ochota Barrels, BK Wines, Murdoch Hill, and State Of Nature, from the Adelaide Hills, Lloyd Brothers, Parea and Hedonist from McLaren Vale, Tea Tree Hill, Sandman, Lost Phoenix Spirits and many more.

Music-wise, there is plenty to keep guests entertained. Playing on “the Big Horn” sound system is a mixture of R&B, funk and disco on Saturday and soul and jazz on Sunday. Saturday’s lineup includes: Oisima (Jewels of Thought), Troy J Been, Nantale, Surahn LIVE with guests electronic set, and Marvin. On Sunday experience, BK & Nick Stock, Ash Dante, Delta, Mehdi (Condesa), Surahn (LIVE with special guests jazz set), and Sidwho?.

Papershell Farm was created by Surahn and Jessica Sidhu, who purchased the orchard in 2017. After Surahn spent most of his life as a globally touring musician and Jessica earned her degrees in architecture and teaching, the pair decided it was time to settle down on a stunning property.

Since 2017, the pair have renovated the homestead and accommodation, planted hundreds of native trees and shrubs, planted productive fruit and vegetables, flowers and herbs, fenced paddocks, and brought in chooks, bees and sheep, transforming the farm, all while hand-harvested thousands of almonds and hosting thousands of people.

The Hi-Fi party offers the perfect opportunity to visit Papershell Farm, immerse yourself in outstanding music, and savour exceptional local wine and food over a memorable weekend.
