As the year comes to an end, Morphettville Racecourse is amping up its social calendar and hosting the Twilight Races this Friday, 16 December. With only ten days until Christmas, it’s honestly one of the best ways to kickstart your holiday celebrations.
Now the warmer weather is (finally) kicking into gear, head trackside and channel the much-needed summertime wind-down vibes and the unique party atmosphere we’re all craving. The Twilight Races is one of your only opportunities to enjoy wine, racing and entertainment, under a canopy of beautiful sunset views (hello golden hour selfies!)
Always popular for those wanting to throw on the automatic replies and wrap up the working day a little early, packages are all but sold out for Friday, and general admission is selling fast.
Our best tip for the night; make your way past the Heritage Stand to the edge of the Derby Lawns to experience the unique atmosphere that only a twilight race meeting can create at Flourish; you’ll be rewarded for the walk! Entry to Morphettville’s brand-new lush trackside space, Flourish, is included with the purchase of general admission tickets, so there are plenty of places to sit, drink, dance, and bask in the afternoon sun.
With DJs, executive-chef-designed culinary offerings, and specially selected beverages available for purchase, Flourish at Twilight will be the place to be. If you’re fantasising about an outdoor party destination where you can dance the night away, Flourish is undeniably a great option.
In addition to expanded hospitality offerings and DJs and entertainment playing into the night, there will of course be live racing kicking off too.
