Peanut Butter And Nutella Cronuts. Who’s In?

Bakery On O’Connell has really outdone itself with the current cronut on offer. Said cronut is PEANUT BUTTER AND NUTELLA flavoured and looks delicious.

Bakery on O’Connell is something of an institution. Open 24/7, with over 200 products for punters to choose from, the bakehouse offers a selection including hot pastries, donuts, cocktails, toasted sandwiches, croissants, milkshakes, coffee, slices … I’m getting hungry just writing this. The bakery also prides itself on being a bit of a patron of the ‘cronut’, having stocked ‘cronut cannoli’ and ‘cronut cones’ in the past.

In case you’re not familiar with the history of the cronut, here’s some info to get you up to speed. The food hybrid was birthed in 2013 by New York pastry chef Dominique Ansel (thank you Dominique) and is a cross between a croissant and a doughnut.

Bakery On O’Connell has really outdone itself with the current cronut on offer. Said cronut is PEANUT BUTTER AND NUTELLA flavoured and it looks bloody incredible (see below).

According the the team at Bakery On O’Connell, the PB and Nutella cronuts have been racing out of the door in the arms (rather, mouths) of very happy customers. Word on the grapevine is that customers have also been ringing ahead to put aside a few cronuts before visiting (we don’t blame these customers. These are smart customers).

The Bakery On O’Connell team also let us know that they regularly change up the cronut flavours on offer, so if for some reason the PB and Nutella combination isn’t your thing, stay tuned for the next iteration.

You can find Bakery On O’Connell (and the cronuts) at 128-130 O’Connell St, North Adelaide SA 5006.
