Pearl Jam has announced an exciting lineup of local artists to support their upcoming Australia and New Zealand tour dates for the Dark Matter World Tour 2024. Joining the tour alongside special guests Pixies are New Zealand’s Liam Finn, Australia’s Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers, and the iconic Australian punk rockers Cosmic Psychos.
Liam Finn will kick off the tour in Auckland on November 8th and 10th. Known for his innovative solo performances and his role in Crowded House, Finn has an energetic and unique style. While Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers will bring their raw, emotional punk energy to the Australian shows, starting at the Gold Coast on November 13th. They will also perform in Melbourne on November 18th and Sydney on November 23rd. Their critically acclaimed album I Love You has strengthen their reputation as a powerful and influential band.
Cosmic Psychos, icons of Australian punk rock scene, will join the tour in Melbourne on November 16th and Sydney on November 21st. With over 30 years of influential music, their gritty sound and high-energy performances continue to resonate with fans old and new.
Pearl Jam’s Dark Matter World Tour marks their long-awaited return to Australia and New Zealand after 10 years. The tour includes seven major stadium shows across the region. Pearl Jam’s new album, Dark Matter, has already debuted at #2 on the ARIA Album Chart.
