South Australia keeps raising the bar. Our distillers do it with quiet confidence and bold flavour. Peel Street will prove it again on Wednesday 15 October. One of the city’s favourite hospitality strips will host an afternoon built for the people who shape how we drink.
This is a trade tasting with real pull. Bartenders are invited. Venue managers are invited. Retail liquor buyers are invited. Distributors are invited. This event is strictly for hospitality and retail trade professionals aged 18+.
For three hours you can taste, talk to the distillers and level up your spirit knowledge in one sweep down the street.
Seven bars will open their doors for the showcase. Twenty seven South Australian distilleries will pour new releases for 2026. Each room will feel different. Each bar will bring its own rhythm. You can drift between venues whilst soaking up the vibe.
The value of this special event is in the access.
Distillers will be there at the bars. You can ask how a recipe came together. You can hear why a botanical matters. You can learn what sets a barrel apart.
The line up stays under wraps until the day. That keeps a bit of theatre in play. You can expect big local names.
Never Never Distilling will be on the trail. Prohibition Liquor will be there. McLaren Vale Distillery will pour whiskey. Hidden Trove will showcase agave spirits. Adelaide Hills Distillery will bring whiskey. Fiction Distilling will share spirits that lean into story.
The mix will move from bright gin to layered malt to liqueurs with a twist. There will be surprises. There will be benchmarks.
