Penfolds, one of Australia’s most recognised and respected wine labels, is hosting an incredible dinner at popular inner-city restaurant eleven this month.
You’ll enjoy a range of award winning wines as eleven compares and contrasts regions, varieties and vintages of some of Australia’s most iconic wines.
Hosted by eleven’s Themis Chryssidis and Callum Hann and with special guest Penfolds Australia Ambassador Zöe Warrington, this will be a memorable and indulgent evening.
The menu will include;
- Scallops, truffle crème, caviar and chives, oyster with mignonette and milk bun with chicken butter paired with Penfolds x Thiénot Rosé Champagne.
- Mussels with saffron consommé paired with a Cellar Reserve Chardonnay 2018 + Bin A Chardonnay.
- Venison, wild mushroom, mountain pepper jus paired with a Cellar Reserve Sangiovese 2017 + Cellar Reserve Tempranillo 2017.
- Lamb shoulder, beetroot and rhubarb paired with a St Henri Shiraz 2016 + St Henri Shiraz 2018.
- And last but not least, a Chestnut Mont Blanc paired with a Father Grand Tawny 10 Year Old.
Eleven is no stranger to hosting incredible events, with the French-inspired contemporary Australian restaurant and open-air bar showcasing the best of South Australia & the world, there is no doubt that the evening will be memorable.
While Penfolds wines will star on the night, the fully open kitchen is an experience in itself, putting on display the expertise of the chefs at work with a nothing to hide and confident approach to dining.
