A new talent-focused performance expo is bringing acting workshops, Q&A sessions and live stage performance to the Parks Theatre.

A new talent-focused performance expo is bringing acting workshops, Q&A sessions and live stage performance to the Parks Theatre.

The Adelaide Talent Expo, running from Saturday March 27 to Sunday March 28, is a one-stop shop for all aspiring, emerging and established performers to experiment with new styles of acting craft and participate in exciting workshops with some of Adelaide’s biggest names.

Tony Knight (former Head of Acting at NIDA) and Dr. Robert Marchand (character-based improvisation expert) are just some of the renowned instructors enlisted to bring their style of performance education to the weekend.

There’s something for the true beginners as well with free Intro to Acting classes are a great way for newcomers to experience the benefits of creativity and confidence that acting can bring!

Opportunities to explore new styles of performance include workshops in aerial dance, Shakespeare performance, stunt choreography and battle choreography, and speakers such as Karena Slaninka (Mercury CX) and Kristen Hamill (Adelaide 48 Hour Film Festival) will provide industry insight and inspiration.

Whether already an acting enthusiast, or simply curious to try something new, the Adelaide Talent Expo offers something for everyone in an inclusive and accessible environment.
