Run by family-owned wine business Bec Hardy Wines, it’s the second major export award since the company’s official launch in July last year, cementing their reputation for their outstanding efforts in exporting their brand internationally, and thrusting South Australia in the limelight.

Since opening, Bec Hardy Wines has expanded across several countries including in the US and Asia, with global distributors embracing their signature Pertaringa drop.

Pertaringa’s McLaren Vale cellar door is home to a range of wines that reflect 170 years of local wine-making heritage. Celebrating their 40th anniversary, wines on offer include its selection of award-winning drops as well as the Bec Hardy range that features wines from a list of South Australian wine regions.

Sit-down tasting flights allow visitors to sample and take in each of their top drops at their own pace, with walk-ins welcome, but pre-bookings encouraged.

Platters of cheese, olives, smallgoods and biscuits are also available for those who want to extend their stay, and savour the view across the vineyards and eastern foothills of McLaren Vale at their newly refurbished cellar door.

Thanks to their global distributors, wine enthusiasts have been enjoying their famous drops from around the world. With no sign of slowing down, the team continues to actively explore further developments into other major international markets.
