Australian singer/songwriter Pete Murray will now bring his 10 Year Anniversary Feeler Show to Bird in Hand for a 2nd concert amongst the vines on Friday 14 February 2014.
Due to unprecedented demand for tickets, Pete Murray’s concert at Bird in Hand on February 15th is now SOLD OUT. A second concert, to be staged on Friday February 14 has gone on sale today.
Ten years ago, Pete Murray released his definitive album Feeler in Australia. A decade later, this classic album is being re-released as a special 10 year anniversary edition. To commemorate the anniversary Pete will be touring Australia this summer performing Feeler in its entirety along with all the favourites.
The performance will include members of his original band The Stonemasons and a live string section.
Pete Murray’s first major label album Feeler has become one of Australia’s most prominent releases – featuring in Triple J’s Hottest 100 Australian Albums of All Time. Feeler includes Australian classic roots/rock songs Feeler, Lines, Bail Me Out, and Please. Whilst Pete initially didn’t want to include the song So Beautiful on the album, as fate would have it, this song struck a chord with the nation and its popularity on the radio saw So Beautiful become the Most Performed Australian Song of the Year in 2004.
The album Feeler eventually reached #1 on the national ARIA charts, sold over 7 x platinum, was nominated for 12 x ARIA Awards and spent over two and half years, yes years, in the Top 100.
