Russian born, Adelaide based fashion designer Katya Komarova launched her stunning new collection En Pointe on Wednesday October 7.
The collection revolves around the freedom of movement and so the use of light chiffon and very thin denim are seen throughout. Obviously these fabrics are ideal for the way they move and allow your body to breathe on a hot and sweaty day (and those days aren’t far away).
With the idea that all the pieces can be worn from day to night, you could be spending a day with friends at a winery or hitting one of Adelaide’s trendy rooftop bars… It won’t matter, this collection will take you from chic casual to sexy night time effortlessly.
Designer and namesake of the label, Katya Komarova is excited to share her designs with the Australian fashion community.
“I want women to have flexibility and comfort whilst still being able to look elegant at all times,” says Katya.
“She doesn’t have to change from daywear to night. She can walk into any situation or event and be confident because she’s dressed well.”
Also an internationally successful model, Katya started designing clothes in 2014 after moving to Australia and embracing the different climate and lifestyle of her new home.
Inspired by the pieces she wish she’d had when she first moved to Australia, this collection consists of classic wardrobe essentials that can be built upon.
This collection includes: tailored pants, denim tops, dresses, skirts, leather handbags and belts.
