Adelaide Hills Cellar Doors Offer Up A Sneak Peek Ahead Of Cellar Door Fest

Get a glimpse of some of the deliciousness that you can expect at this year’s Cellar Door Wine Fest…

It was a Sunday afternoon, the sun was shining, there was wine and cheese, and three cellar doors in the Adelaide Hills waiting for us to visit…. Hello, perfect Sunday sesh! We were lucky enough to be invited along on the Cellar Door Fest Fashion Insiders tour. And it was awesome…

Luckily we had Uber on our side and that meant that we could take full advantage of that wine we mentioned. And thankfully so, because our first stop was the delightful Deviation Road and apart from their ever delicious wine, the stunning backdrop here provided for some pretty gorgeous photo ops.

Next up, Sidewood Estate, just a short Uber ride away, which was good because it meant not waiting too long between drinks. And in this case, cheese.

The marquee was packed with long lunchers, the wine was cold and the golf balls lined up ready for us to take our best swing (but we are better at the drinking and the watching). Oh, and did we mention that Kris Lloyd from Woodside Cheese came along to tempt us with her delightful cheeses. Who are we kidding… we don’t need to be tempted with cheese! We will have all of it, please and thank you! And just an FYI, if you are looking for a Valetine’s Day gift that will please any cheese loving lover out there, the heart cheese is your jam! Check out more here.

Stop number three, and the final one on our little tour was the relatively recent newcomer to the Adelaide Hills, ArtWine Estate. New it may be but they have already made quite an impression already. Probably because they have amazing platters, wines, views to die for AND an adorable wine dog. Coco! Our hot tip: try the Temptress rose, it is perfection!

If we weren’t already (FYI we were), we are just so pumped for the Cellar Door Fest starting on February 26 at the Adelaide Convention Centre. After being given a little taste, we just want it all.

You can try everything from cheese to chocolate to pinot and pilsner when the Festival kicks off. Find out more and snap up your tickets at http://cellardoorfestival.com.
