There are some days that just seem excessively cold, and if you happened to be caught in the arctic like blasts of wind across Adelaide today, you would know that today was more than just cold. Across the Adelaide Hills, especially in the Mount Lofty Ranges, significant snow and hail coverage rendered our usually lush green winter into a white wonderland for parts of the morning, while as far as Parafield Airport, significant amounts of ice and hail coated the ground. While it’s been cold, and you need to make sure to be extra careful on slippery roads, it’s also been quite magical to see.
