The Arkaba Hotel continues its rich association with the arts when they host their second exhibition – as part of the South Australian Living Arts (SALA) expo – showcasing the varied works of six of the state’s most promising artists.
The works from Luna, Claire Foord, Emma Klau, Ross Aberle, Veronique Southan and Paul Zalkauskas make up an exhibition entitled ‘Diversity II’, which was opened with a gala event held on Thursday July 30 at the Arkaba Hotel.
Now open to the public, entry is free and this offers a great opportunity to get down to the Arkaba to support these talented artists and check out their unique pieces.
The display ranges from Luna’s contemporary realist oil paintings, Emma Klau’s amazing glass blown art, Southan’s unique lamp work and jewellery created from marbles and paperweights with borosilicate glass, to Foord’s paintings which celebrate occurrences of transformation in a style which is unpredictable liberated and exposed, Ross Aberle’s award winning portrait art or Paul Z’s amazing mixed media pieces.
