The long awaited Ferment the Festival kicked off last night with Ferment the Dinner. The fermented feast was held alfresco, under the stars with guests enjoying eight-courses prepared by a line-up of some of Australia’s hottest chefs including Jock Zonfrillo, Mat Lindsay, Duncan Welgemoed and Adam James. Also on offer, were several naturally fermented South Australian wines. The event was hosted by wine journalist Mike Bennie.
