Photos: Style Goes Digital In Rundle Place

An Adelaide first and a look at this season’s trends…

The familiar crunch of red and yellow tinged leaves means that autumn is well and truly in the air, and Rundle Place knows just what to do…

Unveiling their Autumn/Winter collection of 2016 last night, Rundle Place turned up the heat for what was announced as Adelaide’s first ever digital Fashion Campaign.

Vivid colours of greens and red, floral Ted Baker prints, brown sleeveless coats and winter white pants are among the trends revealed for this season. Rundle Place’s Marketing Manager Koula Di Biase confirmed the introduction of a fully integrated digital platform which is ‘the first of its kind in South Australia’ and ‘is something new, something different’ to grace the pavement of Rundle Mall. This innovative approach to fashion will see a temporary screen outside Rundle Place operating 24/7 for the next two weeks, allowing time-poor trendsetters to catch the new-season arrivals hassle free. Previously, fashion parades were limited to only two shows a day ‘whereas this…’ Koula explains, ‘is 24/7.’

Showcasing the retailers of Rundle Place, shoppers can expect to see a lot of New Camel- a chic trend this AW16. Neutral dressing from shoes to pants and coats are as classy as it gets. It’s all about those brown and grey tones this Autumn/Winter as well as both fitted and oversized coats. You can never have too many, right?
