Garden parties are resurfacing as the hottest events of the year and to kick off the Spring/Summer season of events, d’Arenberg have announced that Polly’s Pimms Party is coming.
Conveniently slated for the October long weekend, on Sunday 6, the lawns of Polly’s Wine Lounge will be boasting all the essentials for an English Garden Party.
Lawn games, seating and toe-tapping tunes by DJ BOS and Tristan Kemp Solo Acoustic are expected, as is the panoramic view across the McLaren Vale wine region that d’Arenberg features.
So don your finest garden party attire! Tickets are going for $30 and include a serve of the quintessential English dish, fish & chips (or tofu & chips), a souvenir picnic glass and lawn games.
For purchase is the aforementioned, as well as cucumber sandwiches, scones, strawberries and cream, and picnic hampers aplenty.
And the event wouldn’t be complete without a selection of d’Arenberg wines, pimms (duh), frosé (YUM), ale, cider and fizzy pop.
