Pinot and pooch day returns Simon Tolley Wines

Simon Tolley Wines are hosting their ‘Pinot and Pooch’ event on March 13 at their Adelaide Hills cellar door with treats for you and your furry friend.

Grab your furriest family member and a picnic blanket for a relaxing day on the lawns of Simon Tolley Wines for their Pinot and Pooch event on Sunday March 13.

The Adelaide Hills winery is bringing back the dog-friendly day following the success of its previous events last year.

All pooches receive a complementary gift on arrival for a day to relax with your fuzziest friend.

Purchase a glass or bottle of Simon Tolley wine and soak in the view overlooking their expansive vineyards and stunning Woodside landscape.

Light food offerings including locally made mini pizzas, cheese tasting plates and dips will be available to accompany your wine, so you can sit back and enjoy some much-needed time with your favourite non-human!

Running their Pinot and Pooch days since October last year, Simon Tolley cellar door manager Kate Lemay-Robbins says the idea started from their love for dogs and wine.

“We love dogs and we love wine and we thought, what better way than to combine the two!”, Kate said.

“It’s a really nice social day for dog lovers – we have picnic rugs set up on the lawns, it’s a pretty casual day”.

All well-behaved pooches are welcome on a lead, with the winery hosting this paw-some event on a Sunday each month.

A fifth-generation vigneron, Simon Tolley Wines is set in the stunning Adelaide Hills region of Woodside, with classic cool-climate wines, including their new-release Pinot Noir Rose and Sauvignon Blanc.

The coming together of their delicious wines with their passion for man’s best friend has proven popular amongst visitors to the region, and this Sunday will be no different.
