The three hour sessions will allow guests to unleash their inner artists, guided by a local professional while sipping on BYO refreshments.

The popular art experience sweeping Australia, Pinot & Picasso, is opening its studio doors in Norwood this Friday on 11 June, the first of three studios to be opened in South Australia.

With two further locations soon to open in Glenelg and the CBD, you’ll be able to unleash your inner artist at any of their three hour paint sessions held at their insta-worthy studios, which feature colourful murals, green velvet lounges and neon signs for those all important gram snapshots of your arty evening.

Pinot & Picasso have 60 studios open throughout Australia, bringing together friends, co-workers and people who just want to unwind through art and are delighted to bring their experience to Adelaideans looking to channel their inner Van Gogh.

Each session will be run by a local artist who will guide you through your work of art, pausing for mid-paint drying breaks, where guests can enjoy a glass of their preferred BYO tipple and a nibble on one of the grazing platters by Norwood local business Amazing Grazers that can be pre-ordered ahead of your session.

You can choose from a number of varied paint sessions, with previews of what you’ll be painting featured on the Pinot & Picasso website, though budding artists are free to adjust and improvise to really make their masterpiece their own. There are even speciality nights such as ‘Paint Your Partner’ or ‘Paint Your Pet’ where you can completely personalise your painting, creating a stunning portrait of your other half or adorable fur baby.

All you need to bring is any BYO drinks to keep you refreshed, and an idea of where you’ll soon be hanging your colourful creation.

The Pinot & Picasso franchise has experienced huge growth since launching in 2018 with the hugely popular painting workshops. For beginners and artistes alike, the workshops invite budding painters to explore various techniques of canvas painting, in an approachable, relaxed setting that focuses more on the enjoyment of the evening rather than creating anything you’d see hanging in the MoMA anytime soon…

As well as running public sessions every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, the painting sessions have also proved a hugely popular option for birthdays, hen’s parties or corporate team building.

The Norwood studio will be launching this weekend, so get ready to get your creative juices flowing for a night of artistic fun!

Tickets for each paint session will set you back $59, with grazing platters for two available to pre-order for $55.
