Pirate Life Brewing is kicking off the 2022 Adelaide Fringe season the best way we know how: by releasing an exclusive, limited-edition beer in collaboration with the festival that will fund a $10,000 artist grant of a commissioned street mural.
Renowned local brewers, Pirate Life, are returning to launch their second annual Fringe exclusive beverage, the Adelaide Fringe Lager. Crafted in Port Adelaide, the beer will be the perfect accompaniment when enjoying this year’s festival season and an array of glittery Fringe shows. Hoping to also support local and emerging artists, the new Larger is also released in collaboration with the Fringe Wall Art Grant.
Each year the Adelaide Fringe commissions SA’s best emerging and established artists to create large-scale murals across Adelaide’s CBD and suburbs, contributing to the state’s international reputation as an artistic city.
In further contributing to Adelaide’s vibrant landscape, this year’s collaboration with Pirate Life will result in $5 from every case and $15 dollars from every keg of the Adelaide Fringe Lager sold to be contributed in funding a large-scale street art piece.
Artists and consumers can register to have their art submitted for the opportunity to be presented with a commission-piece street mural and receive an exclusive feature on a limited series Pirate Life lager design.
With the 2022 Adelaide Fringe looking to be bigger and better this festival season, this year’s Fringe Festival marks a year of resilience.
Whether you are attending a burlesque show or musical symphony, an Adelaide Fringe Lager will be the ideal beverage to indulge in this year’s festivities.
This is the second time the beloved brewery is joining forces with the Adelaide Fringe, last year releasing a festival draught for punters to consume whilst lapping up the incredible line-up of shows.
