With warm weather comes the beach and also the return of a fan favourite, McLaren Vale’s very own pizza pop-up Pizzateca.

Can you believe it? We’re at the end of the year. And that means the weather is officially warming up.

With warm weather comes the beach and also the return of a fan favourite, McLaren Vale’s very own pizza pop-up Pizzateca.

The popular pizza makers are setting up their seaside Aldinga pop-up yet again this summer, perfect for a summer picnic whilst enjoying SA’s incredible sunsets.

Launching on December 15, the pop-up will be open on selected dates from 4pm to 11pm delivering you the finest hand-made pizzas at Silver Sands.

Known for their traditional, Neapolitan style pizzas, past years have offered a limited menu including Rosso (sugo, basil, oregano, garlic, olive oil), Rita (sugo, parmigiano, mozzarella, basil, olive oil), Salami (sugo, mozzarella, salami, chilli), and Bianca (mozzarella, mushroom, basil, garlic, truffle oil, pepper).

With the beachside pizza bar fully licensed, customers can quench their thirst with an ice-cold beer from the Oztalia Bar to go along with the steamy fresh pizza.

Pizzateca started out in 2016 as a pop-up at Alpha Box and Dice and now have a permanent home in McLaren Vale where their delicious pizzas have made them popular in the southern suburbs.

Recently, the iconic pizzeria clinched the top spot in the delicious. awards, thanks to 12,000 foodies who voted from across the state.

The Pizzateca pop-up is located at the End of Norman Road, Aldinga Beach SA 5173 (near Silver Sands Beach Club).
