Plans and renders have been submitted for a brand new medical centre, retail space and basement car parking in Adelaide’s Woodville, north-west of the city.

The project, managed by Minuzzo Project Management, is in close proximity to Queen Elizabeth Hospital – a multi-story hospital building and multi-level car park just across the road, adding additional medical services and consulting to the area.
The medical centre will cater to specialist consultants typically associated with the hospital, with the internal fit-out for each medical level intentionally not yet done, allowing flexibility for future tenants.
The rest of the area includes a residential care facility and veterinary consulting rooms.

The proposed development involves constructing the 5-story medical centre with consulting rooms across 4 floors, while also promoting an active and walkable community, featuring retail tenancies on the ground floor with high ceiling heights to accommodate alternative uses in the future.
There will be a ground-level car park with 39 spaces and a double basement car park with 91 spaces.

Externally, the building is architecturally designed and maintains a high design standard. The façade consists of transparent saw-toothed vertical glazing and a double-height podium for an active street-level presence.
The proposal incorporates a palette of high-quality, textured, and durable materials including clear glazing, pre-cast concrete, aluminium cladding, and perforated mesh screening.
The Woodville Medical Complex site, with a frontage of about 35 meters, will be replacing the current buildings of an existing medical centre (National Hearing Care), two double-story residential flat buildings, and associated outbuildings, all of which are planned for removal in this development application.
