This weekend saw the official opening of Plant 3 with a retro 80’s Night, where guests danced the night away to a number of throwback tunes, enjoyed incredible food and went back in time with a number of quintessentially 80’s arcade games.

The new sister venue to the popular food and craft haven Plant 4, will be opening daily from July but is now available to hire as a function space, or for special events like this weekend’s successful 80’s party. The venue offers balcony views of surrounding Bowden Park and a stylish indoor/outdoor event space.

Hairdressers Seb & Tom have been announced as Plant 3’s first official residents, now open and offering skilful cuts and colours to customers every Tuesday to Sunday.

Joining Seb & Tom in July will be Bowden Brewing, Bowden Cellars and CAROclub, a foodstall catering to meat-lovers opened by My Kitchen Rules contestants Tim & Kyle and Bread & Bone’s former head chef Kain Slotegraaf. Further spots to join the growing family at Plant 3 will be announced soon for those wishing to join the eclectic eatery, including a spot for any green-fingered businesses as the venue seeks out a dedicated Plant Shop for their scores of loyal visitors.

The new vendors at Plant 3 will be keen to replicate the success of hotspot Plant 4, just outside of the CBD, which hosts popular weekly music nights and a selection of incredible food and drink vendors.
