Are you a fan of jazz or gin? If you answered yes, well you’re in luck! Plant 4 Bowden is returning with one of their most popular events, Gin & Jazz!
Plant 4 is opening their doors from 5pm this Saturday, July 20th, for a swanky evening of smooth jazz and delicious local gin.
The night will start with a gin happy hour from 5pm until 6pm. Included are two SA distilleries, Two Cats Distillery and Barossa Distilling Co, who will be offering free tastings until 8pm. In addition to delicious gin, the Plant 4 bar will be serving up SA wine, local craft beer, spirits and cocktails featuring Adelaide’s finest distilleries until 11pm.
However, you can’t have a good drink or two without a fantastic feed to match. Luckily, the exceptional multicultural eateries that call Plant 4 home will also be open, serving up delicious bites until 9pm.
Enjoy these delights alongside the talented tunes of the Just Us Gals Trio and Souzi D. Wilson and the Cool Mints.
Performances from the Just Us Gals Trio will kick off at 5:30pm. As proud alumni of Adelaide College of the Arts, the musical collaboration will perform a mix of old-school jazz and soul tunes with an upbeat vibe and plenty of groove.
Then from 8pm, Souzi D. Wilson and the Cool Mints will round out the night with some delectable jazz. They’ll groove you with some raging rhythm and blues, and move you with heartfelt originals and standards with the influence of such greats as Ella Fitzgerald, Etta James, Aretha Franklin, James Brown, and Chaka Khan.
As a family-owned and operated business, Plant 4 Bowden has events catered for everyone. From night markets to trivia night to salsa Sundays, since their opening in 2017, there has been continual support for the community and a shared passion for environmental sustainability.
