Since its inception a few years ago, Plant 4 Bowden has been a destination for markets, special events, and some of Adelaide’s best food (think My Grandma Ben, Joe Dumpling, and Nutrition Republic).

Now, Plant 4’s sister space, Plant 3 Bowden, has officially been announced.

Plant 4 Bowden opened in 2017 in Bowden’s old Clipsal building, the space transformed into an “industrial backdrop” for what has become a foodie hotspot.

Plant 3 Bowden will be housed in a 1950’s Clipsal sawtooth building, set to be revamped just as Plant 4 once was.

Talk of Plant 3 Bowden first arose late last year, with an Instagram post from Plant 4 Bowden detailing the opening of its “little twin sister.”

In a recent Facebook post, the Plant 4 Bowden team state the spaces will be connected, “same, same but different.”

According to the post, Plant 3 Bowden will feature a microbrewery/restaurant, as well as a barber, bottle shop/cafe, bar, and a multi-use function space.

Plant 3 Bowden is slated to open in early to mid 2021.
