The City Of Playford’s Grenville Community Connections Hub will be a Fringe venue for one special day – Valentine’s Day, Sunday 14th February 2016.
The Hub is hosting 4 Fringe events this coming Sunday ONLY!
And what an interesting and varied selection they are:-
- Grenville Players’ Spice Of Life Variety Show (12.30pm – 1.30pm) – The Grenville Centre’s very own drama group will present an hour of good, old fashioned vaudevillian fun guaranteed to spice up your life with a healthy dose of entertainment. Price: All tickets $6
- Rock The Decades With Silver Beat (1.45pm – 2.45pm) – Silver Beat Rock Choir comprises some swingin’ seniors – 40 singers and their 6 piece band. These Golden Oldies ROCK!! Price: All tickets $6
- No Privacy (3pm – 3.40pm) – The Hub has invited ex-Elizabeth boy, writer/director Tony Moore to bring his one person play up North. Starring Jo Webb, No Privacy tells the story of a homeless woman with only the bare minimum of possessions, and her stoic sense of humour to survive. Price: All tickets $18
- Our Love Affair:The Songs Of Mickey Rooney and Judy Garland (4.30pm – 5.30pm) – Starring Selena Britz and Jamie Jewell (featured in the reality show I Will Survive), this is a nostalgic hour of wonderful songs and routines made famous by Rooney and Garland in their MGM musical hits. ‘ “Our Love Affair:The Songs Of Mickey And Judy” is an absolute delight of nostalgia. 5 out of 5 stars’ – Adelaide Theatre Guide This is a return performance for Britz and Jewell after having very successful Fringe and Cabaret Fringeseasons last year. Price: All tickets $13
From 5.30pm – 6.30pm there will be a 2 course meal with tea/coffee for only $15 per head.
From 7pm – 10.30pm there will be a Love Is In The Air Valentine’s Cabaret which is NOT part of the Fringe events – all tickets for this are $7.
*There is a special Fringe package being offered: all four Fringe shows and dinner for $50 which is a savings of $12 (note that this does NOT include the Cabaret at night)
All performances plus the meal will be held at the City Of Playford’s Grenville Community Connections Hub, 8 Playford Boulevard, Elizabeth.
