Local music blog play/pause/play will be hosting a series of events in Adelaide, showcasing some of the best local music our city has to offer.
Coming to much-loved live music venue The Jade Monkey on Saturday, September 1 and featuring performances from The Honey Pies (pictured), Ricochet Pete and Quiet in the Lab!, the event will be one of the last hosted at The Jade Monkey before its demolition. play/pause/play’s Luke Penman says “It’s only fitting that the first play/pause/play Adelaide music showcase takes place at The Jade Monkey, where so many local bands got their start.”
Pre-sale tickets are already selling fast, and include a bonus download giveaway with music from each band, including ‘Sold My Soul’, a rare fan-favourite from The Honey Pies’ original demos.
