Pleasure Your Palate With Same Day Gin Delivery From Never Never

Well today just got a little better.

In the current state of the world, it’s small pleasures that will get us through the day.

While we try and limit where we go, and what we do, delivery services are now our lifelines to the outside world. While we’re pretty much sorted for food now (thanks to so many amazing SA restaurants delivering), we do need to reassess our gin collections at home. I mean, after all, we’re the gin state right? Luckily for us, the fine folks over at Never Never are trialing a contactless, same day delivery service.

Never Never will be delivering gin and tonic packs, along with their entire spirit range, across the Adelaide Area.

The ‘menu’ includes their new gin and tonic packs and their award-winning Triple Juniper Gin Export Strength.

The delivery feature will be available to Adelaide metropolitan areas shown on Never Never’s website.

“Since the closure of our distillery door we’ve been looking at different ways to get our gin into as many homes as we can,” says Never Never Brand Director Sean Baxter.

“From Wednesday to Sunday this week we will be offering same day delivery across the Adelaide region using our own salaried staff to deliver all orders,” he continues.

Orders received before 2pm will be dropped off same day, while orders
after 2pm may be delivered the following day.

“We are also creating gin and tonic packs which include a four-pack of Fever Tree Tonic Water and dehydrated citrus garnishes, perfect to mix up a few G&Ts at home.”

Also included in the offer is the Triple Juniper Export Strength release which just won Best in Class at the San Francisco World Spirit Awards beating thousands of other gins in the process. It comes in a one litre bottle at 47% alcohol by volume.

“It was a little glimmer of joy in what has otherwise been a pretty dark time,” says Baxter. “Considering the fact that it was only available in Duty-Free, we thought it would be amazing to sell it Australia-wide, while keeping it at Duty-Free pricing.”

“We wanted to bring duty-free shopping to people stuck in the living rooms,” says Baxter, “that’s one litre of the world’s best gin for $95, and you don’t even need a boarding pass.”

Since the closure of the distillery door, Never Never have moved their full-time staff into new parts of the business in order to keep the brand operational and keep staff employed.

“It’s a pretty tough time out there for everybody,” says Baxter. “I’m definitely not suggesting that drinking is the answer but when you just want a cold gin and tonic, it’s nice to have the opportunity to still get one without having to go out to the shops.”

The same-day home delivery service will be running on a trial basis from
Wednesday March 25th to Sunday March 29th with all local orders placed between now and then eligible for the service. Delivery will be free for all orders over $100 and $10 for anything below that.

It will be a contactless delivery experience with all orders left on the doorstep for collection. If the service is popular, they will look to extend its availability.

“So jump online and stock up while you still can,” says Baxter.
