Police are currently searching the CBD for Jason Burdon who escaped from the Adelaide Remand Centre this morning.
Police were alerted to the incident just after 10.20am on Tuesday 1 December, after Burdon escaped from the kitchen area of the Adelaide Remand Centre on Currie Street.
Burdon (pictured) is 33-years-old and described as about 165cms, with a medium build and light brown hair.
He was last seen wearing navy blue t-shirt, navy blue shorts with dark coloured socks and work boots, and is believed to have stolen a black e-bike.
Police do not believe Jason Burdon is of high risk to the community, but as he is an escapee, would like to apprehend him as soon as positive.
Anyone with information on Jason Burdon’s whereabouts or possible sightings is advised not to approach him, but to contact the police assistance line on 131 444 or in an emergency triple zero (000)
