Polo In The City Comes To Adelaide!

Bringing polo-enthusiasts, fashionistas, socialites, and anyone wanting a good excuse for a day off work together for the 2015 annual Polo In The City.

The annual event attracts hundreds of South Australian polo lovers and event goers to the Victoria Park Racecourse, to enjoy great food and wines whilst revelling in the sport of the aristocracy.

Tickets to the Stella Artois Polo Lounge will commence on Monday 24 August. The Stella Artois Polo Lounge is a staple at Polo In The City and affords polo-lovers some phenomenal entertainment.

In addition to revelling in the polo and other ‘on field’ entertainment guests will also have the opportunity to meet some of the players whilst also enjoying tunes from the resident band and DJ, amongst other attractions. Substantial food and snacks will be available along with Stella Artois, Champagne, Crush Fine Wines and other beverages.

This year’s event following the tradition of previous, with luxury brands sponsoring the event. This year they have announced that Land Rover will be the title sponsor of Polo In The City 2015 in the events 10th year.

One of the oldest sports in the world, Polo dates back at least 2,000 years. Originating in Persia the game spread through Asia. It was in the mid-1800s that the game was taken to England and adopted by the aristocracy. One of the fastest growing spectator sports in the world, and the fastest ball game, Polo is rapidly becoming one of the most exciting sporting events of the year.

With fantastic foods and premium beverages, Polo In The City provides the prefect summer day event to be snapped at.
