When it comes to international cuisine, the number one thing we foodies tend to look for is the authenticity of a spot. From atmosphere, to the staff – and of course, the taste of the food – we want to enjoy only the most genuine and bona fide flavours of any chosen culture. And, fortunately for us, when it comes to Persian foods, ‘Naaz Persian Cuisine’ takes this challenge very seriously!
Family owned and run, this Persian restaurant will take you on a delicious food journey through traditional Rasht flavours, all whilst being taken care of by their highly friendly and welcoming staff. Naaz has been located at 260 Pulteney Street since 2019, when it was opened by Omid Moghaddami and his wife, Mali Ershad. Now it’s time for a change of scenery, with a beautiful new location announced, where the venue will be able to grow and thrive.
Named after their daughter Naaz, which roughly translates to ‘very beautiful,’ the restaurant’s new location will open on July 23rd at 539 Greenhill Road, Hazelwood Park.

The authentic atmosphere that Naaz is known for, with their gorgeously vibrant and warm toned decorations, will continue at the new location, creating a slice of Persia in the heart of South Australia.
And of course, to add to the excitement of their new location, the team from Naaz is having a vibrant and welcoming grand opening! Walk through their new doors on August 2nd and 3rd and celebrate together with some authentically delicious Persian dishes, and afterwards, a free Bastani ice cream for some well deserved desert.
Take a seat and choose from the countless of mouth-watering dishes listed on their menu, such as their popular slow-cooked lamb shank with broad bean, or tender chicken served with wild Persian barberries and slivered pistachio and almond. There are also plenty of great options for vegetarians and vegan foodies out there too! Besides the Vegetarian Sini, a gorgeous platter of Persian vegetables served with flavoursome dips – most plates can offer vegan or vegetarian alternatives that will taste just as good.

With what we are sure will be a fantastic and lively opening night – we highly recommend to reserve your table for the event beforehand on their website.
