The Sea to Shore Seafood Festival will return to Jimmy Melrose Park on Glenelg’s foreshore this Spring for a weekend of seafood-themed festivities. Held on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th of October, seafood lovers can look forward to fresh South Australian seafood, local wine and gin, and live cooking demonstrations in the backdrop of Glenelg’s majestic coastline.

Based on previous events, which garnered the attention of 25,000 seafood enthusiasts, Glenelg’s foreshore is once again set to become a seafood hub. Taking place over an entire weekend for the first time, acclaimed restaurateurs and chefs are partnering with SA producers to exhibit some of the state’s finest sustainably sourced seafood dishes.
Kicking off at 11am on both days, guests will have the opportunity to indulge in seafood dishes from a range of restaurants and vendors and experience the thrills and spills of live cooking inside an open marquee, all while soaking up the radiant atmosphere of Jimmy Melrose Park transformed into a waterfront retreat.

For Sea to Shore 2024, Ambassador Chef Laura Sharrad is set to curate a diverse selection of dishes prepared by respected chefs from across the state. The 2014 Masterchef runner-up will design a catalogue of restaurants, chefs, and activities set to be revealed in September. Featured vendors from 2023 included Soi 38, Squid Squad, Ragani Day, and Angler Stirling, in addition to DJ performances and nautically-inspired installations. This year, expect a mix of previously selected and new producers eager to present their dishes for SA’s seafood connoisseurs.
