The Porch Sessions, for those uninitiated, are a touring collective of concerts hosted in some of the most spectacular back yards in Adelaide. They bring everything, the bands, the bar, the wine, the food, the homemade lemonade, the cupcakes, they string up bunting, drape fairy lights from the trees and sprawl Persian rugs and crochet blankets across the lawn as the sun sets and the punters flow in for a night of brilliant music in the company of old friends.
Now they’ve bringing their amazingness to the Forage Supply Co HQ in Tanunda to transform their gorgeous space into a dreamy affair during Barossa Gourmet on Sunday, 3 September.
“Porch Sessions is all about food, wine and amazing music. Forage Supply Co are involved in all kinds of amazing projects that really focus on the community, sustainability and being environmentally friendly so it felt like perfect fit,” says Porch Sessions’ Sharni Honor.
“They’ve got a gorgeous set up on the outskirts of the Barossa with views overlooking rolling vineyards and a new community garden they’re currently building. It’d be rude not to have a festival there really!”.
Forage Supply Co. are all about encouraging informed decisions and educating people on the small, easy ways they can live a more sustainable, environmentally-friendly life. Check out the incredible projects they’re involved here. At the festival, the Forage Supply Co food van will dishing up things like wood oven pizzas and selling vinos from their micro-winery.
We are still waiting on the full details and lineup but judging by previous events, we expect it’s going to be pretty bloody awesome.
So gather the gang and get around the ultimate festival of food, music and sustainability, celebrating Forage Supply Co’s concept; from the soil, to the field and back to the earth, all with the smallest footprint possible.
Just to give you an idea of le vibes…
