The doughnut gods have done it again: Port Elliot Bakery has unveiled their latest mouth-watering doughnut of the month – and it’s sure to get you rushing to the Fleurieu Peninsula to try!
The delicious doughnut November flavour is Aero Chocolate, oozing with a light chocolate Hazelnut Ganache Mousse. The nutty-chocolate flavour explosion is drizzled in Nutella and looks positively delightful.
The doughnut invention is always the highlight of South Australia’s month, and this time, Port Elliot Bakery has not let us down. While this indulgent treat is worlds away from October’s creation of Strawberry Shortcake, the bakehouse will attract the usual hordes eager to sink their teeth into the chocolatey treat.
But it’s not just sweet treats at the iconic bakehouse: The pie of the month is Hickory Pulled Pork! The piping hot delight is jam-packed with rich and smoky flavours, with the succulent pulled pork the perfect juxtaposition against the fluffy, golden pastry.
The new November flavours are the perfect excuse to fill up on bakery treats while visiting the stunning Port Elliot coastline. The Port Elliot Bakery has long been an institution, attracting impressive line-ups for the monthly creations.
Although guests of the bakehouse can potentially expect to queue for their treats, everyone knows that once the sugary goodness hit their taste buds, the wait was well worth it. Patience is a virtue – and it’s definitely worth it for these bakery goods!
The pastry guns at Port Elliot Bakery will be slinging both the Aero Chocolate doughnut and Hickory Pulled Port pie only in November, so get in quick to taste these epic flavour creations.
