Port Elliot Prepares For A New Pop Up Beachside Festival For New Year

Coming ashore this summer, The Sailing Club is promising a delicious line up of food and wine overlooking the beautiful Horseshoe Bay at Port Elliot.

Adelaide is hoisting its sails as it gets ready for the storm of festival-goers this season. And to give us more entertainment, Adelaide is saying ahoy to the latest food and wine feast that’s joining the legendary ranks!

From December 30th till January 1st, ‘The Sailing Club’ will set the anchor and come ashore to everyone’s favourite beachside destination, Port Elliot in the Harbour Master’s Reserve (top of The Strand, overlooking Horseshoe Bay). The new crew at dock will take us on a nautical adventure bringing us the best of Adelaide’s food and wine scene. Locals, tourists and all holiday goers, get ready for a weekend on the coast in the Fleurieu Peninsula first (and most definitely not the last!).

Expect to see a fabulous line up of food from the Adelaide based Thai street food eatery Sukhumvit Soi 38 and Abbots and Kinney, along with the premium wine from Lost Buoy, Howard Vineyard, Samuel’s Gorge and Stone and Wood Brewing Company. And more eateries are to come!

Taking us into the New Year is Adelaide’s one and only, Ounce Gin, who have jumped on board to create the ultimate Gin Party! So, start looking forward to sipping on their delicious gin concoctions. Your first drink of the year might as well be a little bit fancy.

‘The Sailing Club’ has something for all ages, so there’s just another reason to escape the city to the picturesque seaside town for a summer afternoon of relaxing with family and friends.

Follow The Sailing Club on Facebook for more updates. But for now, sit back and just picture the clear skies and the summer sun to come.
