If double stacked, American-style hotcakes topped with Japanese fried chicken and steaky bacon which is then drizzled in Canadian maple syrup is your idea of a good time, then you’ll want to head on down to Fleet Street Social to check out their brand new breakfast menu.
The Port Noarlunga hotspot, which opened with a bang in May this year, has just announced it will now be open for breakfast after spending its initial opening months solely as an afternoon and evening venue.
Launching last week, don’t expect your average brekky menu. Head Chef and co-owner Adam McGuiness has infused his signature style with traditional breakfast items to create not only delicious but also aesthetically-pleasing dishes including Thick-cut Nutella French Toast, hot peri-peri eggs and the aforementioned hot cakes. And when I say thick-cut toast, I mean THICK.
Dripping in 50s retro charm, Fleet Street Social has become the go-to location down South with Adam and his business partner-in-crime, Jayden Broughman, making full use of the large space that used to house the old Boony’s site, with live acoustic music setting the scene on Saturdays and Sundays and DJs every night from Friday – Sunday.
With over 10 years as a professional chef, Adam has a keen eye for the industry and when he noticed a gap in the market in his hometown of Port Noarlunga, he knew he was the right person to fill it.
Available daily from 8:30am – 2pm, the brunch menu means you can now be wined and dined at Fleet Street Social all day, with the eateries all-day and feed me menu’s also available with Fleet Street being one of the few places in the area offering a feed me menu.
Fleet Street Social is located at 1/32 Saltfleet St, Port Noarlunga.
