To toast a much-hoped-for Port Adelaide win this Father’s Day, casino mixologists have created the Power Punch cocktail – a mix of Alize Bleu, lemonade and Coca-Cola to reflect the Power’s magnificent teal, black and white. For $7, the Power Punch will be available in LOCO and Chandelier Bars all weekend.
And for those keen to grab a pre or post-match meal, Café Junction will serve the $15 Power Steak Meal Deal – a juicy 250g porterhouse steak cooked to order and topped with sauce, onion rings, chips and a salad, plus a schooner of beer.
For every Power Steak served, Adelaide Casino will donate $2 to the Flinders Medical Centre Foundation, supporting much-needed medical research into cancers and many other serious illnesses.
Adelaide Casino’s Manager – Marketing Strategy and Communications, Verity Moreland, says Power Punch and Power Steak will be available for this weekend only.
“With the match all but sold out and Power fans marching from Rundle Mall across the footbridge to the Oval, the atmosphere in the city will be electric – pun completely intended,” Ms Moreland says.
“For those who can’t get to the game, all the action will be broadcast live on the big screens in Grandstand Bar.
“It will be a cracker day on the Riverbank and we’re looking forward to a Power victory this Sunday.”
