Last night The Collins Bar officially launched their Fashion Cocktail Collection, inspired by some of Adelaide’s finest labels; C/MEO Collective, Keepsake, ACLER, So It Goes (SIG), Cinquante the Label and Paolo Sebastion. After working hand in hand with the designers to create their signature cocktails that represent the brand, we can now confirm that fashion and cocktails go extremely well together, much like shopping after a few wines. But what doesn’t go well with cocktails?
If you like your cocktail to taste like what you imagine summer does, fruity, light and extremely delicious while not being overpowered by the taste of alcohol. Then the Cinquante The Label and Paolo Sebastian Cocktails are for you. Full of muddled fruits, edible flowers and sorbet, these cocktails are definitely perfect for those with a sweet tooth.
If you’re a gin lover then the C/MEO Collective Cocktail has you covered. Served with apple and lemon, a bit of the bitter edge that you might typically experience of a gin and tonic is toned down. However, if you do love yourself a bit of bitter then the Aperol based So It Goes Cocktail is perfection. Served on the rocks with a simple orange zest, we think this is a cocktail that males would happily be caught drinking.
Lastly, and not for the faint hearted, is the Keepsake The Label and Acler cocktails. Both encompassing entirely different and delicious flavours, they are the perfect drink after a long, hard day at the office. The Keepsake The Label cocktail is like an adults version of a Jaffa without being too heavy on the chocolate, while the Acler cocktail, being Vodka and Vermouth based is quite dry with a subtle and refreshing twist of apple.

This menu is really one to be applauded, no matter what your taste buds call for, it’s covered. The Fashion Collection Cocktail menu will be available at The Collins Bar until Sunday the 29th of October, 2016. Being just Launched last night, it’s time to ditch the champagne and discover the new cocktail list at The Collins Bar, created in collaboration with some of Adelaide’s finest fashion designers. a stone’s throw from many of the Runway events happening in Victoria Square for Adelaide Fashion Festival, it is the perfect spot to grab a pre-show cocktail in style.
