Prime Minister Scott Morrison has revealed a new JobMaker plan, designed to foster a new generation of “economic success.”
The National Cabinet’s three step plan for a COVID-safe Australia is currently being implemented, with the Prime Minister stating it is anticipated all three steps will be completed across the country by July.
Some 850,000 jobs are expected to be ultimately restored in the months to come.
The JobMaker plan comprises a series of principles, as outlined by the Prime Minster in today’s announcement.
The Prime Minister stated Australia will remain an outward looking, open, and sovereign-trading economy, and will continue to be part of global supply chains.
The Prime Minster also highlighted the importance of ensuring industries remain highly competitive and resilient, as well as caring for country.
Expressly, the Prime Minister ensured there will be an opportunity for those who “have a go to get a go.”
